Welcome to the Underage Blog, a collection of random scribblings,
words and pictures contributed to by a bunch of bored under 18s.
We will also be hosting some of the freshest parties for young
people in Glasgow real soon, stay tuned for details. As this is our
maiden voyage, sit yourself down, put your feet up and wrap your ears around some of our favourite new
music.
Passion Pit - The Reeling
In celebration of the return of the sun, after what has felt like the
longest winter ever (am I right, no?), this is the new Passion Pit
single, which sounds like someone actually managed to distill
and bottle summer itself. The perfect accompaniment to a bottle
of (ahem) juice and a lazy day in Kelvingrove? I think so. Joyous.
Golden Silvers - True Romance (True No. 9 Blues)
The new track from Golden Silvers suffers from that old
affliction/quality (however you want to see it) of sounding entirely
familiar on first listen, and subsequently refusing to leave your
brain for the next 5 days. Sounds like the best of 80s post-punk,
brought right into 2 double oh 9, if this isn't a future dance floor
classic i'll eat all my hats.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero (MSTRKRFT Remix)
And finally, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to post one of
my favourite songs from one of the best albums by one of my
favourite bands remixed by two giants of modern dance music!
I say no more. Bangers and mash please!
